GTX 1070 And 1080 Video Cards Available At A Decent Price In Newegg Bundle

As a consequence of rising GPU prices due to the cryptocurrency mining craze, deals to get video cards at reasonable prices are catching the eyes of those looking to upgrade or build a gaming PC. In many cases, pre-built PCs are a more attractive option than ever before, but system builders still have options. Right now, Newegg is offering a few GPU/motherboard bundles from Gigabyte for the next couple of days.

Up until February 8, you can get a Gigabyte GTX 1070 (Windforce OC model) with the Z370 Aorus Gaming WiFi ATX motherboard for $ 630 USD. This particular GTX 1070 model is listed for $ 500 by itself but is currently sold out as an individual item. The motherboard in this bundles goes for $ 160. Not only is this a way to get a high-end video card for a decent price, but you get $ 30 off with the bundle.

The Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming WiFi motherboard sports an LGA 1511 socket type, which means it has to be paired with Intel’s 8th generation Core CPUs (like the i7-8700K). It is not compatible with older generations of CPUs. There is also support for a maximum of 64GB of DDR4 RAM, dual-channel memory, and up to 4000MHz memory frequency when overclocking.

A bundle with a Gigabyte GTX 1080 (G1 Gaming model) and the same motherboard is available for $ 770 as well–this includes the $ 30 bundle discount. The video card is listed as $ 640 but is also sold out as an individual item. And if you wish to go all out for a GTX 1080 Ti, there’s a bundle for that, too; it’ll run you $ 1030, though. The card’s price shown at $ 900, but again, it’s sold out as a single item.

If you’re on the hunt for a gaming PC, there’s a decent deal going on right now for a pre-built Alienware Aurora system. For more details on cryptocurrency impacting graphics cards, check out our video and breakdown of how GPU pricing has recently skyrocketed.
